Ok, so I am 34, almost 35 weeks along and am writing my birth plan. We are doing an open adoption and the family and I will probably be leaving the hospital together, they are our ride home. I've registered at the hospital but we are unable to tour due to covid. Our adoption agency counselor has been in touch with the hospital social worker to communicate our adoption plans, but should I also include those plans written into our birth plan? This is my first baby so also any other advice on what to include in our birth plan would be helpful. I've looked at a few sample birthplans and have things like room ambiance, pain relief methods, support person(s), and cord clamping delay after birth, plus some other info on after birth like making sure she stays in the room with me, and who should accompany her if she absolutely needs to be separated for any procedure or exam. Is there anything I'm forgetting or should add just in case?
