My mother was adopted thru Catholic charities in Illinois. Her adoptive parents got a call one day and picked her up at a convent in central Illinois. Her birth certificate lists my adoptive grandparents as her birth parents, and we have no other info. She is extremely resistant to any type of DNA testing etc. I've done mine tho, through myheritage.com but I can't make any sense of the results. Can anybody help me navigate this craziness?!??!
