(41-M) Found out something interesting the other day

I was adopted when I was around 6 months old. I've grown up in a loving family and have no idea who my birth parents are. Talking to my dad the other day about getting a copy my birth certificate he let me know that name was changed when they adopted me. This is weird to me. I want to know if the hospital named me originally or if was my birth parents.
