Post Body

Hello,

After hiking in the ADK’s for years on/off I’ve decided to complete the challenge and after consulting a map, AllTrails and a few websites I’ve divided the 46 peaks into what I think are day hikes versus those I think are better to tackle over multiple days.

Based on what I could gather the following would be day hikes:

Big Slide

Cascade/Porter

Giant/ Rocky ridge

Whiteface/ Esther

Algonquin/ Wright/ Iroquois

Phelps/ Tabletop

Street/ Nye

Marshall/ Colden

Allen Mountain

Redfield / Cliff

Seymour

Armstrong

And the remaining peaks could be done over the course of 2-3 days:

Lower great range: Sawteeth, Gothics, Armstrong, Upper Wolfjaw, Lower Wolfjaw

Dial, Nippletop, Blake, Colvin

Saddleback, Basin, Haystack

Gray/ Skylight/ Marcy

Santanoni/ Couchsachraga/ Panther

Seward/ Donaldson/ Emmons

Dix Range: Macomb/ South Dix/ Grace (East Dix)/ Hough/ Dix

I would appreciate any advice and input as I want to optimize my trips.
