Potential conflict among AdGuard DNS filtering lists = frequent network connectivity issues

Post Body

I've been noticing that my iPhone has had intermittent connectivity issues the past few weeks here, with G-mail not being able to sync, Spotify not being able to connect to its servers, Safari not loading websites randomly, etc. I discovered that disabling AdGuard would make all these issues magically go away so I started troubleshooting which features might be responsible.

I hit on a solution that worked (for me anyway).

In my DNS filtering options, there are two similar filter lists active:

  • "Adguard SDN filter"
  • "AdGuard DNS filter"

The lists seem similar but come from different domains (Adtidy vs Adguard's Github pages).

Originally, the top was active and the bottom inactive.

I switched them to be like in the picture, and boom, no trouble in the past few days at all.

Anybody else having any issues with this? Seems like something may have gone awry with these settings when the newer AdGuard for iOS got released.

Ignore the Korea specific filters in the middle.
