Curious how other people view the hospitality industry in SA. Good or bad. It would be more interesting to hear from folks who actually work in it or have recently.

I’ve been working in hospo for the last 4 years and I’m really starting to dislike almost every aspect of it lately. The rude coworkers/managers, horrible customers, late nights etc etc. One last semester of uni and hopefully I’m done with it for good.

Although I do work in perhaps the busiest hotel/pub in SA so I may be biased. But I’m sure I’m not alone in thinking hospo is just a cesspool of toxic life sucking hell.

Just some late night thoughts for me. I’m actually quite a nice fellow, but maybe that’s the problem…haha
