Mom and pop ice cream near Adelaide?

Hey all - I’m an expat American living in Adelaide and with summer inching closer I can’t help but think about my childhood tradition of going to family owned, fresh ice creameries.
I’ve lived in oz a few years now and I’ve yet to find anything remotely close to the creameries back home. Different country, different culture. I get it.
That being said - tips for the best/independently owned ice cream? Doesn’t have to be in Adelaide!
