Received a handwritten note in my mailbox about noise levels. (Unfortunate because my first thought was, ‘did the cute neighbour leave me a note!’ Shame)

I feel like a pig already because I know we’re loud people (I blame my genes) and we try to keep it down but get carried away sometimes. We’re going to take more care going forward for sure (or maybe just go back to our own country // saying it before someone else does).

I am curious about the note though. It is apparently from Neighbourhood Watch (says so on the top of the note, also handwritten so not really a letterhead). It’s got a report number but no contact details (weird right?) It lists out some examples but no specific date/time.

Has this happened to anyone else? Should I do something apart from keeping it down?

Haven’t received a notice from the rental agency either.

I kinda have a feeling it’s the next door neighbour (not the cute one) who put this in the mailbox. Like i understand why he did this - i wouldn’t want to confront a noisy neighbour either.
