Hi everyone, this is probably a bit more of an unconventional post for here. I am not a member of the Addison’s community, although I am a chronically ill person. I’m currently doing research on the development of the device of an at home sodium meter, and what demographics it may be helpful for. Originally the device prototype was created for AVP-D (formerly known as diabetes insipidus), but I believe it may be are applicable to patients with other conditions that affect sodium regulation. I know Addison’s disease affects the adrenal gland’s initial function of creating hormones that regulate sodium levels, so I thought you all may be interested.
