What’s Up With The English Volumes?

Like are only the first two going to be available?
I preordered the next three. But I can’t find any confirmation that they won’t be coming out. Any help would be awesome.
Also don’t get why they are like scrubbing this from everything. Is there something deeper going on? I know the Kenshin author is still doing his manga, or was.
Plus why not leave them to support the artist.
