I’m dealing with a scar from a fat transfer to my chin that’s about six months old. It started as bad bruising that turned into a scab for a month, but after 6 months of healing, it finally looks like skin again, though there are small, rice-sized indentations and some pinkness.
I’ve been using a scar gel for a month, and it’s made a difference in smoothing it out, but recently the area’s been getting dry. I added Aquaphor, which has helped with the dryness. I also use an oil that reduces the pink. I was told by someone that it might be fibrosis, but I’m not sure if that’s the case.
I’ve included a slide of few pics (it’s hard to capture). Any recommendations for more improvement, especially for the indentations, would be great!
