HDD Issues
Post Body

My Acer Nitro 5 is about 4 months old, I just got it, basically. And this is the third second drive I've had to buy. My External HDD drives keep disappearing. The first time I had a Seagate that i plugged in with the HDMI cord. That was old and stopped working. SO, I had to install all my games back on a Brand new Seagate Barracuda that I installed in the computer's extra HDD slot. It worked for about 2 months. Then out of the blue it was gone. It wasn't on my files or in the computer's devices, nor in the disk and volumes section of settings. I restarted my computer and is shown up. Well, once again I turned on the computer to play modded cities:skylines the game crashed and after waiting and making sure my computer was good. It disappeared again. I restarted it to see if that would work but it never showed back up and once again all the game i installed on it were gone. I made sure everything was plugged in, and it is. It's even running, i can hear the motor when it’s on. But nothing is showing up. Furthermore. Everything that was on it when i popped up for like 20 mins was gone. Like it deleted everything stored on it.

I'm not super good with these things. I know the basics. But I don't know why it's on but won't work or show up. Not in my files not in my settings not in my devices. It's just on. And all the files in it are deleted. Please, someone, help me.
