Start up: New Acer laptop not connecting to monitor via USB C adapter->HDMI cable. Works after re-plugging in.
Post Body

Hey All, just became a proud member of this community. Received my new Acer Nitro laptop.

I have noticed that when my laptop starts up, its able to detect a monitor (22 inches) connected to it via direct HDMI cable, but is not able to detect or connect to another monitor (27 inches) connected to it via a USB C adapter -> HDMI cable.

It works when I unplug the USB adapter and re-plug it in.

Also, when I turn on my laptop, it doesn't remember the previous monitor configuration and messes up the resolutions in the both monitors as well as the laptop screen.

Can anyone please help me fix this issue?

I am using this adapter:

Thanks!
