As the title says, my Nitro 5 517-42 has been plagued by the annoying sound crackle problem. It happens with any headphones, headset, etc. and usually occurs at the start of any audio playback or randomly if I go back a tab or two in Steam, or even if I open a new program (??).
Yes, I've tried to reinstall and/or update the driver. I'm even using the recommended driver that's on the Acer product page. Yes, I've ran sfc scannow, and all the other cmd "fixes". Nothing has worked. The driver version is 6.09514.1, by the way. Running Windows 11, updated, nothing out of date, etc.
Also, I don't know if it's the same for everyone here, but the only audio format option I have is 16 bit 48000Hz. Nothing else.
Please, if anybody knows a workaround, please help!
