Through life friends family and wife all told me how good I look how I don’t need acutane it’s not that bad etc so I’d put it off for years, i learned a lesson I’d like to share.
Acne caused me a ton on insecurity and anxiety no compliments could fix because I HATED how I looked, it caused me to miss out on jobs, never muster courage to socialize, always envied others who had clear skin etc.
In short it led to depression affecting my physical and mental state, as it does many others.
If you are not comfortable in your skin do what needs to be done to make you feel right rideing compliments is only temporary you need to accept yourself, not others accept you.
