Over the winter break I had my wisdom teeth removed. This was about a month into treatment. Like many, I faced dry socket and had an infection start in my mouth. My dermatologist told me to stop taking accutane 5 days before the surgery. After the surgery, I was weary to continue because of how severe the dry socket became. In total I took about a month break from accutane. Yesterday I took my first pill back from my break and this morning I am in more pain then I have felt from accutane ever. (I had an accutane treatment about 3 years ago) I'll be honest: I smoked some weed last night, however I have smoked heavily on accutane and never really experienced extremely harsh side effects. I am currently taking 80mg a day at 175 pounds. Should I press on with the accutane or contact my dermatologist? I also experienced extremely intense light headed-ness and almost passed out in the shower this morning. Thanks!
