[Job Description]: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented U.S. Sales Tax Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Sales Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with U.S. sales tax regulations and providing accurate tax reporting for our organization.

[Key Responsibilities]: (ONLY IF NEEDED BUT MOSTLY FILING OF SALES TAX RETURNS (30-70 a month. I will do the calculations though)

• Conducting thorough reviews of sales transactions to determine sales tax liabilities
• Calculating and filing sales tax returns in compliance with U.S. regulations
• Reconciling sales tax accounts and resolving any discrepancies
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate sales tax reporting
• Staying up-to-date with changes in sales tax laws and regulations

[Requirements]: - Solid understanding of U.S. sales tax laws and regulations - Experience in sales tax accounting or a related role - Proficiency in relevant accounting software and MS Excel - Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities

[Work Schedule]: The bulk of the work for this role is concentrated during the 2nd and 3rd week of each month, aligning with tax filing requirements. This part-time position offers flexible hours, allowing you to manage your schedule accordingly.
