Currently work at a small firm. Boss isnât too fond of the Coronavirus and tends to downplay its seriousness. I do not WFH so I have to come to work physically each time. My boss recently brought up that there are more vaccinations than there are cases. He wants everyone to open back up and let âmy generation die off insteadâ (referring to us millennials)
I was taken aback by this statement and I expressively showed my disdain with my facial expression.
Much to my chagrin, my boss just doubled down on his position and said something along the lines of âyour generation parties too much anyway so you deserve to die of COVID.â
Wow, thank you for this. Iâll put in my two weeks soon, just need to come up with a plan. But I think that was the tipping point.
Is there a nicer way or is scorched earth really the way to go?
i think he does which is why he wants younger people to go out and work instead
Oh no he wants the younger generation to risk it instead of theirs. So basically since itâs the younger generation they are less likely to die off instead.
