Hypothetically, if I am a US Citizen and gambled online at Roobet which technically isn’t allowed, is there a way I could claim the gambling losses on my taxes?
Post Body

Hypothetically, if I am a US Citizen and gambled online at Roobet which technically isn’t allowed, is there a way I could claim the gambling losses on my taxes? I know I can claim gambling losses, and have the exact amounts, but how would I go about claiming the losses or should I just take the losses?

Update: I won a few thousand in the process but I’m in the hole about $3,500
