Accounting Clerk or Assistant Certificate

Hello, I am planning on transferring from community college to 4 year school to get a bachelors in accounting. I also noticed that my school offers the accounting clerk or accounting assistant certificate as well. I still want to get my Bachelors but Im wondering is the accounting clerk or assistant certificate beneficial at all? Because if I can get into the field while getting my bachelors that would be awesome because I hate my current job.
