Seeking help: donation credit accounting and business sale

If anybody would like to private message consult me I would be grateful. Pretty simple stuff, but I have to take someone to court for the sale of the business and I need to know the legalities behind donation credits… I.E.someone donates clothing to your store in exchange for store credit kind of stuff. Doesn't fall under the proper definition of store credit… I need advice that would help
