Moving on from public accounting
Post Body

I’m currently an auditor, have been for about 5 years. 3 with my old job and 2 with current. I’m most likely going to get promoted to senior in the summer but I have no aspirations to move up any hire or get my cpa license. I’ve know for a while I don’t wanna spend my whole career in public, just didn’t know how long. I’m guessing I’ll probably stick it out another year or 2 but was just wondering what people have done after public and what your experiences have been. I have no idea what type of job I’d want after this. Do you like life after public more? Any suggestions on what to look for?
