I am an audit intern who has been with the firm for about 2 months now and recently I’ve been getting chewed out for taking too long and billing too many hours on the timesheet for the client. Apparently the client is super stingy about the time budget and my supervisors have been questioning why I take so long and reminding me to be mindful of the time. I honestly do not know how I take so long doing the work. I barely know anything about audit and I just take some time to read things to try to understand them. But I guess time really does pass when I just work. I do not think I will receive a full time offer, anybody in a similar boat?
