I am not 100% sure if this is the right subreddit to discuss such a thing but from the few talks I've had with other students, Impostor syndrome tends to be a rather prevalent thing in academia.
I myself am feeling this quite a bit. I just started my graduate studies in Philosophy and compared the the school i was going to before, i feel as though this institution has a high expectation from it's students. I feel like im a complete idiot and do not belong there and feel as though my fellow peers are all far more intelligent than i am. I know that the school didn't make a mistake or anything and others have reassured me that it's quite a normal feeling but i don't quite know how to deal with this.
