Is there reason to believe slavery was humane and more like modern day employment or apprenticeships during biblical times?
Post Body

Iโ€™ve always been told that when the Bible speaks of slavery that itโ€™s not (as) problematic because in ancient times slavery was actually more like employment and or apprenticeships and that people willingly came into slavery to better there lives.

Has there been writing down on this? Is there any evidence to suggest this is true?
