Familiar with the following a little bit after some research:
Florentino Garcia Martinez - The Dead Sea Scrolls Translated: The Qumran Texts in English
Florentino Garcia Martinez - The Dead Sea Scrolls Translated Study Edition Vol 1/2
Geza Vermes - The Complete Dead Sea Scrolls in English: Seventh Edition
Wise, Abegg, Cook - The Dead Sea Scrolls: A New Translation
Wise, Flint, Ulrich - The Dead Sea Scrolls Bible
Marvin Meyer - The The Nag Hammadi Scriptures: The Revised and Updated Translation
Marvin Meyer, William Barnstone - The Gnostic Bible: Revised and Expansed Edition
Any pro/cons/double-dipping? I realize it's a lot but all the topics seem interesting. I know that Martinez's books are similar. The study version has the original texts along with the translation but I can't quite tell exactly how updated it is from the regular translation non-study version.
Vermes is not complete. But easy to read.
Wise, Abegg, Cook's seems fine but they seem to really differ on some of them from Martinez's.
But the Dead Sea Scrolls Bible I really like. I'm hoping for more like that. This is the only biblical scroll book I can really find. I realize the Septuagint and Masoretic Text have been pretty accurate.
The Gnostic Bible/Nag Hammadi are just for fun but is there a big difference between the two?
