Suppose there is a young woman, aged 19, from a low-income family and she's worked hard since she was 15 saving up money to go to college. She barely has enough to afford it with some government assistance. Suppose she accidentally gets pregnant by her boyfriend in a similar situation as her. She can't afford to go to college, and take care of the baby at the same time. Then her boyfriend says she will break up with her if she doesn't abort the child. She only lives with her elderly grandparents, and has no other support system. If she chooses to abort she will live a happy life, and pursue her dreams. With no negative consequences to her life. If she keeps the child she will live a very miserable life where she can't pursue her dreams, and the child will grow up in poverty along with her. Given all the facts of this situation, what would you tell her to do? Get an abortion, or give up on her dreams?
