Members of the Sweet Spot have stepped up to help the victims of hurricane Helen. As we watch this unfold its hard to sit by and allow our fellow Americans to suffer at the hands of incompetence. We have teamed up with We GIVE A SIP (City Vodka) a locally made vodka , NAS energies (Launy & Jen) to get water, food and supplies right to the victims hands. Theres a network of locals using Mule teams and side by sides to get these supplies into the mountains of North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee. There are even groups of Hikers walking emergency medical supplies into the mountains. We will have our team coordinating supplies and getting it ready to ship. ITEMS NEEDED pet food, tarps any size, portable cooking equipment, canned and dry goods, gift cards, blankets Do NOT bring clothing at this time. RIght Now we are looking to fill their immeadiate needs of water and food n supplies. The situation on the ground is dire.We will be collecting these items this week email us we will coordiante getting the items from you. You can deliver to the sweet Spot. We will need truck loaders and Pick up trucks. We would like to get the trailer loaded and gone by Monday. It is a holiday weekend. Club will be open 4Pm to 9Pm we will be accepting donations. Club will be open for use as well.

We will be coordinating with Firefighters United to get fire and ems equipment later as well. Normally these things are far away from us and the local groups get the job done. However Im not sure everyone unerstands the scale of this disaster. Just in North carolina alone the devestated area is bigger than the country of Belgium! thats one state....... then factor in that it goes from there to Florida. Our fellow Americans need our help its clear the govt is not getting the job done and obviously hindering efforts. The best we can do is get them what they need and work to insure they know we care about them. The rest will resolve on its own we wont be getting involved in their stupid politics; this is about helping our fellow Americans.
