I start a lot of AVNs. Checking them out. I don't finish them all, not even close.

The ones that don't make it in my book are:

1) wall to wall sexual encounters...if that was my "goal" I'd just watch porn...
2) have trite, overly predictable, recycled story-line(s)...
3) Graphics that look like they're from 1996...

Yeah, I want some quality, beautifully done and rendered sex scenes for certain but part of the fun, at least for me, is that those sex scenes need to be 'earned' by the MC, not dropped in his lap so to speak. As for story, the best stories of all are ones that I'm so interested in that I'll play that particular AVN even when I'm not in a "frisky" mood.

FWIW, right now I'm working my way through Halfway House, which I am enjoying. Talk about a title where you really have to 'earn' romantic encounters - this is one of those for sure. I'm enjoying it so far....
