Hey guys I’m 27 and got a referral for an mri from my neurologist for a issue not related to avm and they uncovered the avm in my brain, I’ve followed up with a nuero surgeon they want me to get a eeg and angiogram to determine which category to place me in and I believe the avm is located on the top of my right lobe.
I’m very worried nervous and discouraged getting diagnosed with this at 27 as I thought I was healthy and had no issues, though I am down I remain blessed and grateful they caught it before a rupture or anything serious.
I don’t have many people to talk to about this condition, I will be updating my journey on here periodically, any kind words or advice is greatly appreciated I feel very alone and not sure who I can trust.
