I want the AUG to work so bad, but I’m going up against continual disappointments. This time, the suppressor plug vents directly into your finger. This picture is just after one mag. It’s terribly designed. They could have vented upward. They could have restricted gas from the barrel, but instead takes in full gas and vents a ton. This makes a loud pop which limits suppressor advantages, and makes a large flash flash, and burns your hand. It’s ok for a few mags, and you would probably wear gloves, but still…. I hate to say it, but it’s a really poor design. They could have fixed a lot of this.
Writing this out of frustration because I really want the Aug to be awesome, but it does have flaws. Flaws that I assume Austrian engineers could have fixed if they were shooters themselves.
