Light mounting solution help please

As seen in the pictures, my Arisaka 300 with surefire UE07 is about twoish inches too short. A solution to this would be to find a picatinny mount that brings the light about two inches forward, however I don't think Arisaka offers this mount. Or, to find a switch with a longer cable.
Any help would be appreciated! Cheers.
