ATT Trade In Question - 30 Days from Activation or Receiving the Phone

Hello,

I ordered the new iPhone 13 Pro for my entire family aiming to use the trade in. Only issue is my daughter is at college and wasn't going to be home for another month. The ATT store said it should be fine as long as I trade in 30 days after the new phone is activated.

Well now they're saying that its 30 days after delivery of the phone - not activation. The website even says Trade Ins must be received 30 days after activation. I called Support to argue my case and they said my line was already active so that clause doesn't apply.

Anything I can do here? I've already sent my trade in and they credited me $120 instead of the $800.
