I've had an original A6 for several years. It has been a reliable unit with the biggest flaw being the responsiveness of the touch screen. Now that I've decided to keep the car, I'm considering upgrading to the S8.

In the research I've done, I've found a few people who complain about the call quality. Of course I've found none that say anything positive about the call quality. I understand that people often don't say positive things about basic functions that just work as expected, so I'm curious if others have had good/bad experiences with the quality of the calls. Please let me know if you are using the internal or external microphone when replying.

I'm also curious if the plugs on the back of my A6 can be simply unplugged and then plugged into the S8.

Another thing that I assume will be the same, or at least similar, would be the ability of a high output charge (2A) USB port. Am I correct in this?

Any other differences/things I should be aware of?
