I’ve been inspired by the Netflix show Crashing(not a paid ad) to seek out alternative housing options. In this scenario the tenants occupy a building that is government owned and disused. This keeps the building safeish and deters crime, they get strongly discounted rent.
Do you have any experiences or stories on different living situations? I’m talking odder (more odd) than mother in law suite.
I just submitted my app to that PadSplit site posted a little further below. Very excited to see what that produces for $25.
My situation is that I have a little extra coin for rent ($800 month), but I don’t want to sign a cumbersome lease or live with a coworker. But I need something a little more adult than my current not-quite-a mother in law suite.
