So I recently learned that on the Z690 MB when m.2_1 is occupied with a SSD in my case occupied with a samsung 980 pro 2tb 4th gen that PCIEX16(G5) will run x8 mode only and in that space i have my gpu an EVGA RTX3090 FTW3 24GB there. So earlier on today I went and removed my SSD in the m.2_1 slot and installed it in the m.2_2 slot and took the WD BLACK 750 SSD that was there and moved it on over to the m.2_3 slot . Then i went ahead and installed 2 other WD BLACK 750 SSD i have on the ROG HYPER CARD and installed the hyper card in the PCIEX16(G4) slot where they both can be in use after making some changes in the BIOS. Windows and BIOS detects the samsung980 and both ssd on the hyper card along with the WD HDD I have connected , but the WD750 in the m.2_3 slot is only being detected by BIOS and not windows. I really have no idea what to do so I would appreciate if anyone can provide me with a solution thank you all for your time god bless and stay safe!
