Troubles with laptop while idle
Post Body

Greetings. I have Asus strix g16, intel 13450hx, 4060. Its working fine, however I noticed today that if it goes sleeping it turn off some time later (which is a problem since i have steam downloads on background). No problem, I opened browser and it doesn't sleep anymore, not sleeping, but battery drains pretty fast. It is also hotter than expected. Not on charger. What I saw is that on hwinfo64 4060 constantly switches between zeroes and numbers under load. On the other side Nvidia GPU indicator in tray shows it as disabled constantly. So my guess is GPU turning on and off. I have discord, yt and steam, no games so why does it do it?

What I did before was UV CPU in bios, uvoc GPU in afterburner, changing some Nvidia settings (tho I did it for selected games only, not general settings). Latest GPU drivers.

My main thought is Nvidia Optimus failing to keep things on iGPU keeping GPU active, or Nvidia afterburner keeping card active.

Is it connected to the fact laptop turning off after some time in sleep mode?

P.s. I also have a small question. Why during gaming I see voltage on iGPU? Is that just a side effect of voltage applied on CPU itself? Or it's normal?
