Just recently I purchased a Samsung SSD 980 pro and i wanted to plug this in my desktops nvme port. I already have an ssd and it runs windows no problem. Nothing works and when it’s recognized it doesnt start windows. I mess with the settings of boot options making sure it wasn’t booting the new ssd. I then try it to plug it in while the computer is on and running windows with the old ssd and the new one removed. Once pluged in the 980 mvne is not even recognized in the disk management or pc settings. What can i do? Im trying to use this as a seperate gaming hard drive and leave my old original ssd as the main…..
