How do I connect a LaCie drive to my Asus RT-AX56U?

Post Body

I just bought a new RT-AX56U router and a 2TB LaCie drive that I want to use for Time Machine backups for my Mac. After setting up the router and plugging in the drive, it is recognised but appears as "Unmounted" in the Network Map.

In the USB Application > Time Machine > Select menu I get "No USB disk detected."

What do I need to do to make this work?

Plugging the disk directly into my Mac works fine.
