Hey all, I recently decided to upgrade my storage on my laptop, so I looked online and found one website indicated that the Samsung 870 EVO SSD should fit my laptop. So, I went ahead and purchased it, cracked open the laptop aaaaannnd the drive is too thin to be able to align the screw holes with the bracket. The adapter for the drive itself fits the 2.5 port on the laptop, but the issue is the gap between the bracket and the drive.
I decided that I would just align the screws and to secure it in place, despite the gap. It seems pretty tight on there and I was able to format the SSD to work on the computer. Should I be worried about the gap at all?
