I’ve really struggled academically before, so I was proud of my 4.0 GPA this sem and was super excited to tell my parents. When I did, it basically boiled down to them telling me, “it’s ASU. We’re already super embarrassed that you go there, this is the bare minimum that you can do.” I know that these classes weren’t that difficult and that it’s kinda pitiful of me to ask this, but someone please please tell me you’re proud of me because what my parents said really stung ngl. :_))
