Is non-thesis MSE significantly worse than thesis MS if I don't plan on doing research?

Post Body

I'm doing 4 1 for electrical engineering, and I've been researching the difference between MSE (non-thesis) and MS (thesis). I have no interest in research; I just want to go into industry after this, but I've been reading things online that says people doing MSE are not preferable to employers because it means you are expecting higher pay for just taking some extra classes (employer might as well get a bachelor's with experience or master's with thesis). Now I'm unsure of my direction. Is MSE really that bad?

I'm doing 4 1 because I have leftover scholarships from graduating early, but I might reconsider it if it could do me harm. I wouldn't mind MS if I could also finish it in a year, but that's unrealistic considering how long research may take.
