Context: Your next door neighbor is feeling a little down because it's Christmas and no one would associate her with Christmas being a Drider, so you decide to cheer her up.

[Scene opens with you opening the door to your neighbor's house]

"Thanks for coming, It means a lot to me. Usually I can do some of this Decorating myself, but lately..."

[You ask her if everything is ok]

"I mean, Yeah? It's just I know not everyone associate Spiders with Christmas, but just once could there be something, anything dedicated to them?"

[Pause]

"I know, I know. I should be grateful that I was "Ms. Popular" during Halloween but still...Honestly, I'm not even a fan of Halloween. Christmas however was always so cheerful and bright."

[You continue helping her decorate as she talks to you]

"I must be boring you."

[You insist that she isn't and you don't mind her lamenting]

"Thanks, your really sweet. You know that? Honestly it's just, sometimes you just need to vent. Even if nothing gets done about it."

[You pat her on the shoulder saying you understand completely]

"It may come across as weird, I mean "Drider wanting to be associated with Christmas, who do you think you are, Jack Skellington?" Cliché as it is, it is true."

[You continue to put up decorations and finally put up the tree decorations]

"Seriously though, I do appreciate it. It's just lately, I've been feeling down. For the first time in years, It doesn't even feel like Christmas. I use to put on a brave face and say "Hey now, just celebrate Christmas like the rest of them. They can't keep a good Drider down" But lately..."

[You noticed that she seems to be hiding some tears back, trying not to upset her you hand her some tissues]

"Thanks, lately it just doesn't seem worth it. Like, no matter what I do, I will always be lonely around Christmas time."

[It was around this moment that you realize no one really comes to visit her around Christmas, you then get closer to her]

"Huh, what are you-?"

[You hug her and rub her back, as you can hear her gently sobbing in your sweater.]

"I must seem like a big baby huh?"

[You reassure her that she isn't]

"You know, your the first visitor I have had around this time of the year in...geeze I can't even remember when. "

[You ask her if she wants to come over to your house for Christmas...Or you can come over to her house?]

"Wait, are you inviting me over for Christmas?"

[Pause]

"Or at my house? I mean I'm ok with either."

[You state that it's a date then]

"D-d-d-date?"

[You state that it's a figure of speech]

"Right, figure of speech. I mean, unless if you really want one."

[You admit that you fear that your out of her league]

"Please, if anything I feel like I'm out of your league. Always so kind and compassionate, how did I get a lucky neighbor like you?"

[She leans over and kisses you on the forehead]

"I look forward to seeing you around Christmas, I'll make an extra special feast of flies and mosquito's"

[You look at her with a little look of shock and disgust]

"*Chuckles* Oh my god, I'm joking. We'll have some Roast Beef, Mashed potatoes...The works"

[You turn a little red]

"You really thought I was going to give you insects weren't you? *laughs a little* That's fine. I'll remember that though. See you then. Oh, and you don't have to dress formal. It will just be the two of us."

[She smiles as you go out the door]

[Fade to black]

Note: I might make a part 2, Just wanted to see how this one worked out. If anything I feel like Driders weren't as popular of monster girls as say Lamia's, but I figure at least give it a shot.

Also, before anyone mentions, I am aware that Ukrainian traditions often decorate their Christmas tree's with Spider ornaments and spider webs. If I do a part 2, I would incorporate that into it. Just wasn't sure if that would of been against any rules for guidelines (better safe than sorry)
