Context: A few days have gone by and with the help of you Guardian angel, You try to make amends with your family. Only for it to end pretty badly. This is a continuation of what happened

[Scene opens with Dara, the Guardian Angel, getting use to the new way of life she is currently living. Wearing more conspicuous apparel, she prepares a meal for You as she waits for your return after your fist attempt to make amends to your family]

[SFX: Humming while preparing homemade Macaroni and Cheese, and some freshly baked cookies as you enter the condo]

"Oh, hey there. How did things go?"

[You enter without muttering a word and sit down on the couch. Turning on the T.V.]

[SFX: T.V. booting up and a show turning on]

"That bad huh? Well, I know what would cheer you up."

[She brings in a Casserole dish with the Mac and cheese still sizzling]

[SFX: Sizzling]

"Come on, this use to be your favorite dish. Your mom use to make it a lot especially around this time of the year."

[Still not responding she puts down the hot Casserole dish and takes the remote from you. Turning off the T.V.]

"Not that I'm against watching T.V., but could you at least explain what happened?"

[You tell her the whole story]

"So if I'm understanding it correctly; You went into your family's home, like I suggested. Tried to apologize to everyone but your dad, who wasn't there due to an appointment that he had, and everything was going well until he cam back."

[Pause]

"Did I miss anything so far?"

[You shake your head]

"Ok, then after seeing you, he immediately wanted you to get out of his house. Considering he's "Technically" In the right."

[You stand up as if thinking she's taking your father's side]

"I meant legally, he's the owner of the house!"

[You sit back down as if to motion an "Oh"]

"By any chance, could you tell me about your dad more?"

[Shocked, You jester as if to say you don't already know?]

"I mean, I'm your angel. Not his, so anything that you might have on him might help."

[You mention that he once served in the service]

"Uh-Huh"

[And how he didn't care much for any church since back then, they didn't particularly like men who volunteered]

"Uh-Huh"

[And even though he's had a very pessimistic look on life, the closest he gets is spiritual]

"So he was a Veteran, who had it out for his beliefs because they did not like people who volunteered as appose to being drafted, which in turn gave him a more pessimistic look on everything"

[You acknowledge that is about the sum of it]

"you know what, I think I need some outside sources to get the full picture. What was the name of your dad?"

[You mention his name]

"Okay leave it to me."

[Dara goes into the other room to call your father's angel. You faintly hear her muffled voice]

"Hello, this is Dara. I was wondering if you could give me the angel of-"

[She's cut off for a second as if she was interrupted]

"Oh yes that's correct, is his angel-"

[Cut off again you hear another pause in the conversation]

"I see. Is there any way to reach her?"

[Pause]

"Ok, thank you for your help"

[Walks back in]

"Well there's good news and bad news. The bad news is your fathers angel is MIA. The good news is that the report that she has worked on for him is still in tact. Sadly, it's been out of date for about a decade. But at least it starts somewhere."

[Concerned by your father's angel being MIA, you decide to press further.]

"Not to worry, this sometimes happens. Although a decade is a bit of a while..."

[Knock on the door as Dara walks to it and answers it]

"thank you."

[SFX: Door shutting, and shuffling through papers]

"Okay what can we find in here that can help us-"

[She stops at a page and closes the notes Immediately]

[You decide to ask what's wrong]

"Oh, um...Let's just say...It's nothing"

[You doubt her and proceed to pressure her]

[SFX: Deep sigh]

"your dad...Let's just say it's more of what did they do to him afterwards. I can't say specifically what the did...but it was encourage by the people who were meant to support him."

[She gets a little sick in the stomach as she tries to read one of the quotes]

"God wouldn't support a...a...I can't, it's just too much"

[She shuts the papers and facepalms her face and lowers her head]

"I mean, if I didn't knew any angels, I would probably be insulted. I mean Michael protects people like him. And this is how they award him? Tarnishing his name for their own hubris?"

[You rub her back and comfort her]

"Thanks, I can at least be assured that you turned out alright."

[She leans in and gives you a kiss on the cheek]

"Honestly, I think your doing ok."

[You ask her what happens if one of the angels do go missing]

"Back on that subject, huh? Well, considering some qualifications it goes up the chain. It may seem counterproductive, but in the short term it does work. At least short term for us."

[Wanting to hear more explanation of this set up]

"Well for example, if I disappear for whatever reason, You would probably get an Archangel to watch over you, and if one of them that is watching over you, it would go to the Principalities, and so on and so on."

[You ask why do they do this, and if it gets confusing.]

"I mean, it may seem odd, but usually we can find one or more of the angels that go missing for whatever reason within a few years or so. I have to admit, it is odd for one to go missing for a decade or more."

[You ask which archangel watches over your dad now]

"Michael naturally. Why?"

[You gesture no reason]

"Hmmm? Could it be you are worried for your dad?"

[You state of course]

"Woah, didn't expect that."

[You respond with he's still your father]

"huh, he's still your father? A few days ago, you wouldn't even acknowledge him, now this?"

[She leans into your ear and gently whispers]

"I'm proud of you kid."

[She gives you a kiss on the lips, followed by a few more kisses as you join her.]

[She holds you in her arms and gently rubs your back]

"Now we can worry about those things later, you want to eat now?"

[You shake your head, refusing to leave this comfy position]

"No, okay. Then how about you rest while I sing you a gentle lullaby?"

[You look at her with a raised eyebrow as if to say "really?"]

"come on, don't knock it until you try it"

[She then proceeds to hum O come, Emanuel and Silent night]

[You fall asleep in her arms, but hear a muffled voice in your semi sleep state]

"You know you can't stay with him forever right?"

"Please, just let me comfort him a little while longer."

"Dana, this isn't right. Do you know how many rules your breaking because of this?"

"Like you wouldn't do the Same Gabriel!"

[Pause]

"So that's it, you just think of me as nothing more than a heartless messenger"

"I never said that."

"You don't have to. it's clear in your eyes."

"Gabriel."

"look me in the eyes and tell me that you hold no resentment towards me because of what you must do."

[Dana refuses]

"By the looks of things, everything will rap up shortly"

"You mean?"

"Yes, thanks to Michael and I, his father will forgive him shortly."

[Exceeded, Dana let's out a little squee of joy]

"I can't wait to tell my human."

"Yes, and you can follow with a goodbye as well."

"Goodbye?"

"You did your duty, and despite all of the issues that was caused, we are willing to overlook it provided you come back."

"When?"

[there's a pause followed by a continued push]

"Gabriel, When?"

"December 25th"

[she lets out a gasp, followed by a "oh, no." then she starts to sob gently]

"I'm sorry Dana, if it's any consolation, He wanted you to come ASAP. I managed to convince him to give you a week."

[Gabriel leaves with your Guardian angel crying as it fades to black]

Side note: going to take a temporary break on this project and hopefully finish this by the end of the week, by then I will hopefully figure out how to connect all these parts together so that they can easily be accessed. In the meantime, I got a side script that I was wanting to finish and will probably post that one next.
