SCRIPT HERE-approximately 1400 words

The Splatoon series and all the characters/concepts from it belong to Nintendo

Fun fact: (Not counting different-gendered versions of the same script) This is my 50th script that I've publicly posted! The fact that I've got to this many is surprising to me and I want to thank everyone who's ever offered their support. It's because of this milestone that I decided to try something different, writing a script based on an existing series! I don't plan on doing this very often as I definately prefer writing fully original stuff, but this was a fun experiment to see what I could do. Splatoon is also my biggest special interest so that helped out a lot. I tried my best to replicate the style of speech used in the games, including their weird slang and plenty of fish puns. However you don't need to know a whole lot about the series before going into this script. All you need to know is that:

-Inklings are evolved squids that live in societies very similar to ours

-Octolings are just like inklings, but octopi instead

-The Great Turf War was a war that occurred 100 years ago which forced octolings to live underground, but now many of them are making their way to the surface.

And for those who know about splatoon, yes this story occurs around when the Splatoon 2 story is happening. With ALL OF THAT out of the way, thank you so much for reading and please enjoy!
