SCRIPT HERE-approximately 1100 words
I wanted to write a summer-related script, and one of the first things to come to my mind was the ocean. That eventually lead to mermaids and the concept for this script! It's a little unconventional, but that's what makes me like it. I like to affectionately call this script "One edit makes autocorrect have a seizure." Seriously. When you're purposefully writing broken language it can be a pain @_@ But the reason I wanted this character to speak this way is because I imagine them as less of an "Ariel" and more of a "humanoid fish monster." A bit less visually appealing, but it makes for an even more wholesome friendship story! I hope I wrote the broken English in a way that's understandable. If anything writing this was a fun new challenge. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy!
