(It's your friend who set you up on the blind date you think you're going on).

"Cam... I feel sick.... like, litterly, sick to my stomach. Remind me again why I agreed to let you set me up on a blind date?"

"I'm not being dramatic! Or well, maybe but I think it's pretty justifiable. I haven't been on a first date in years. Besides, we all knew how well it turned out the first time you tried setting me up... I know was a long time ago. Hopefully your judgement has improved... If this one shows up in flip flops and sweatpants, high as a kite and doesn't know what 'USA' stands for, you're in deep trouble. Yeah, I'm glad you're laughing.

yeah? Promise? If this turns out bad, I'll hold you to it. Alright... So, what was this mystery girl suppose to be wearing again? Right.. I should probably go, I think I see someone wearing...

No... NO, NO, no... Is this what I think it is? Cam! What the actual fuck? You set me up with my ex?

Pause (tense silence as you look at your ex)

"Hi..."

"Yes.. That was Cam.. Our so called best friend who set us up.. Litterly and in more ways than one."

"No, trust me, I'm just as surprised as you.. I thought I was going on a blind date and then... you show up."

"No, I'm not disappointed.. well, I don't know. It's just... you. The way that things ended with us... I haven't seen you in months.. It's just awkward, you know? Sturring up old wounds... And you look really good, I hate that."

"Yeah, I do? Well, that's the wonders of make-up... It can desive the eye."

"No, I don't. Sorry, let's just forget I said that. Look, we don't have to to this... Whatever this is. I don't know what Cam, and probably the rest of our friend group, had expected when they conducted this little plan but we don't have to play along. Like I said, it's just going to sturr things up. We'll end up fighting, cry and feeling worse than we do right now. Let's just walk out of here while we're somewhat OK and continue to move on."

So nstead of being a good friend and offer som advice, she made you chose who you wanted in your life, me or her?"
