Summary

(For the Speaker) You love your friend more than they could ever imagine, but they are always too dense to realize it. You try testing the water with indirect little comments or flirting but everything always goes way over their head. But you can't emotionally handle confessing directly. What if they reject you? It could ruin your friendship and the one happiness you have in your life! So you invite them over to a sleepover and you ask them for feedback on a story you've written. And with this story, you confess indirectly, as if all the things that you have felt and done were only the actions of your main character. That way you can ask for your crush's thoughts on your feelings and actions in an emotionally manageable way. And their thoughts on your feelings and actions are very important, of course, because they include extreme romantic obsession.

(For the Listener) You've been invited over to have a sleepover with your best friend, just the two of you! While you're there, they have a confession to make, if you can separate fact from fiction.

As always feel free to adapt/edit and monetize. (Paywalling is fine too!)
