In 2009, TerraDraca wrote a story called The Neko Crown 2. Which had 2 parts 1 & 2. I'm writing a audio roleplay script that is strongly based on the ideas they had all that time ago. I've already taken it in a pretty different direction so you shouldn't have to worry about spoilers or copyright things. I just wanted to make sure they were credited for the existence of this script. Part 1 of my script is here or here's the raw text post.

Infiltrating the Nekos
{General; commanding}
Soldiers! As you know, humanity is losing this war! Our enemy is faster, more agile, and possesses a mastery of guerilla tactics! As Iâm sure youâve seen, they can also infect our ranks with their feline traits. This attrition war has been an uphill battle, however, we may have a glimmer of hope! The ânekosâ have ceased their assault. They havenât aggressed us for a few weeks now. We know they are planning something, but we have a plan of our own! The eggheads in Research believe they can give us a tactile advantage in this war. In fear of deserters and spies, information will be divulged on a need-to-know basis! All I am telling you is that these doctors will be performing medicals on everyone during a course of specialized exercise. If they ask for any tests or medical history, oblige them. That is an order! Understood?!
*salutes*
Good! Begin independent traversal of this course on my command! Your objective is to stand within the marked area on the south side of this room. This may be done by any means, however, if one of the medics stops you for any reason, you listen to them. Ready?! Begin!
*pause*
{General; speaking voice}
So all of these soldiers meet the genetic requirements?
{Scientist; speaking}
Yes maâam/sir. The exercise is more of a mental test. Balancing on narrow beams, moving in low-light conditions, we just need to see which subjects have a more catlike mentality. As you can see a few of them are performing poorly.
{General; questioning}
I can see that, Doctor. But those two privates are making good time. Is there a minimum speed requirement for this little experiment?
{scientist; answering}
Anyone who finishes in under a minute would be eligible for this program, miss/sir. However, we are monitoring several other factors that can disqualify participants. It looks like weâll only be getting two candidates for this first wave.
[collison sfx]
{scientist; observing}
Correction, one candidate. I doubt Number Four will be able to finish the trial after that fall. Looks like Project CopyCat will be moving on with just one specimen.
*pause*
{General; commanding}
Private! Congratulations, youâll be moving on. The rest of you rejoin your companies at the mess hall, and I better not hear any stupid rumors about this, or Iâll have you all sweeping the ceiling with toothbrushes. Dismissed!
[many footsteps sfx]
Soldier, this is Doctor |First Name, Last Name|. They have developed a form of biological modification which you ~will~ be partaking in. The finer details are above your clearance but |Last Name| will explain what you need to know. Good luck, soldier.
*general walks away*
{scientist; friendly}
Hello private. Iâll explain everything on the way to the lab, walk with me.
[walking sfx start]
My team and I have been studying the Neko transformation process. Standard briefing teaches that any cut or bite from a Neko causes full-scale ailuranthropy. Not only is the physical transformation permanent but subjects infected have no recollection of their human life and gain a strong allegiance to Neko kind. We were seeking to create a cure for the transformation but weâve stumbled upon something different. An inoculation, which would prevent the mental transformation of a subject. Itâs expensive, finicky, and untested so mass dosage is inconceivable. But we had hoped to use it and you to create a spy of sorts. Someone who could pass into enemy lines and learn about their motives, plans, and weapons. I wonât lie, there is a good chance this wonât work. And if it does it would be irreversible. We donât understand the process enough to reverse engineer it, so after this war, youâd be a Neko, forever. Of course, humanity will remember youâre service and if everything goes as planned, youâll be well taken care of once this is all over.
[walking sfx stop]
[door opens]
[lab noises]
Here we are. The modification will require minor surgery, then we will infect you while you are still unconscious. When you wake up you will be restrained, so try not to panic. Now, you can sit on this table and fill out this questionnaire before we begin.
{scientist; louder}
Attention all medical staff. Human trial one of Project CopyCat will begin shortly. Remember to follow proper safety protocol when we bring out Neko subject for infection.
{scientist; talking}
Hand me that form and weâll strap you up to the anesthetic.
*small pause*
Now lay down, and donât try to resist the urge to sleep.
*listener falls unconscious*
[lab sounds fade]
*time skip*
[background sound fades in]
{general; muffled}
I donât know what the science supports, but waking them up is a bad idea! We have no clue what theyâll do.
{scienist; muffled then fading into clarity}
They are sufficiently restrained should this process go wrong. We just need to keep them up. No problem.
{scientist; clear}
Hello again private. Your body accepted the modification. We simply hit a little snag. The active elements that are going to keep you âhumanâ are also going to keep you awake, so youâll be conscious as you transform. We do not know how you may react, so please, try to stay calm.
{scientist; louder}
Bring in Eve!
{scientist; calmly}
Eve is just going to give you a little prick and then weâll wheel her away. The transformation will begin quickly so remember not to thrash.
{scientist; talking in the background while general speaks}
Everyone keep to protocol. We donât need any extra Nekos running around while weâre testing. Bring here around for infection. Mind the claws, sheâs sedated not unconscious.
{general; talking}
Soldier, you are doing a great service to humanity. Even if this fails, I promise you will be recorded as the first step toward human victory.
{scientist; clear}
We are beginning the experiment in Five⌠Four⌠Three⌠Two⌠One. Piercing human flesh. Cart Eve out of here! We donât want this one to get any ideas from her.
*pause*
Theyâre going into convulsions! Prep tranquilizer in case of a breakout. Heart rate is one-hundred and fifty over ninety and rising! Brain activity is through the roof!
*pause*
{scientist; worried}
Brain activity has stopped, the subject is no longer breathing! Heart rate is dropping, weâre losing them! Prepping adrenaline shot!
[needle sfx]
Administered! Theyâre coming back. Come on buddy, open up those eyes. You need to want it! Fight the cat, come on!
{scientist; excited}
Brain activity restoring! Heart rate one-fifty over one-hundred and stabilizing. Felinization is complete. Mental state not yet confirmed.
(exhale)
{scientist; as though talking to a pet}
Hey there buddy. How are you feeling? Can you see okay?
[listener thrashes]
{scientist; loudly}
Turn down the lights! They arenât adjusted yet!
{scientist; as though talking to a pet}
Hey, donât worry, itâs okay. Itâs all going to be fine. Can you say something to me? Anything to confirm consciousness.
[listener hisses continously]
{general; annoyed}
Well great. Months of funding and research and you made another Neko. Great job on that one doctor.
{scientist; hopeful}
No miss/sir. We arenât out yet. Bring around the laser!
{scientist; as though talking to a pet}
Itâs all good, kitty. We are going to give you something to focus on. Just look at the nice red dot and calm down. You can do this Private, just try to remember. Youâre not one of them, youâre with us.
[hissing comes to a stop]
Thatâs good private. Now look at my face and say something. Can you tell me your serial number?
*listener struggles to speak*
Thatâs very good! Do you remember your name?
*listener speaks more fluently*
Perfect.
{scientist; smugly}
Iâd say that makes this a successful test, General. Wouldnât you?
{general; suspicous}
We still donât know how well they can keep themselves composed. Wheel them to a test room and get a psych evaluation done. I canât have them going rouge in the field.
{scientist; smugly}
Yes maâam/sir. Take the subject to Recovery Room B. Iâll interview them myself.
[wheel sfx]
[walking]
[door closes]
{scientist; happy}
And now that weâre all alone I can say how proud I am! I am confident that the subjectâs mental fortitude is the deciding factor in this experiment so Iâm so glad you toughed it out. Iâll ask you a few questions and then get you up and moving again. Are you ready?
*listener nods*
Question One, Does your vision seem blurry or out of focus?
*listener responds*
Really?! Your pupils are slits so I had assumed youâd need time to adjust.
(clears throat)
Sorry, I had a few bets on some of these questions, Iâll try to keep it professional.
Question Two, are you currently a Neko?
*listener responds*
That one was kind of a trick question, any answer would have been fine.
Question Three, do you want to turn me, a human?
*listener responds*
Good, good.
Would you transform me if a fellow Neko told you to?
*listener responds*
Good, Question Four. Since transforming, can you confirm that you have not seen any other Nekos?
*listener responds*
Even without physical contact, can you sense, feel, or otherwise detect any other Nekos? Specifically, Eve, who is currently one room over.
*listener responds*
You can? Thatâs odd but uniform with what Neko captives have reported. Do you have any desire to aid Eve in any way?
*listener responds*
On a scale of zero to ten, zero being complete apathy and ten being a burning passion, how much do you want to help Eve?
*listener responds*
4 or 5? Thatâs a little worrisome, but would you say that the feeling is controllable?
*listener responds*
Good. When I click this button, the guard outside will lock the door to this room. I will then release your bindings and we will test motor skills. If your behavior or speech is deemed too threatening then the room will be gassed and we will both fall asleep. Do you understand?
{scientist; nervous}
Okay, Iâm going to release your legs, then your arms. Iâm really hoping that this isnât a ploy to escape, so⌠Please stay calm, I guess.
[velco unbinds]
{scientist; skittish}
If youâd stand on this scale Iâll take your new measurements.
[button clicks]
Beginning audio record, the subject is now fifty-two inches tall or four foot four, and weighs forty-one pounds. Muscle and bone density are presumed atrophied and the subject appears much like a young child. Can you touch your nose, then both ears, then your nose in quick succession for me?
*listener touches*
Subjects' fine motor skills have not declined. Touch the wall and jump as high as you can.
*listener jumps*
The subject has jumped and touched the ceiling and seemingly could jump higher. Can you run from one end of the room to the other, first on two feet then on four?
*listener runs*
The subject can run at about twenty feet per second on two legs and an impressive sixty-two feet per second on four legs. Note, the subject does not seem tired from this display.
{scientist; calmer}
Alright, the final test is outside stimuli. Youâll sit down on the table and I will introduce various stimuli. Your objective is to react to them as minimally as possible. Ready?
Stimuli One is a frequency higher than humans can hear.
[sound effect of silence]
Note subject has disregarded their composure and is writhing at this sound. Consider frequency-based anti-neko weapons.
Stimuli Two, the meows and purrs of a mother cat.
[cat sounds]
Despite best efforts, the subject is visibly calmed by this sound.
[cat sounds stop]
Stimuli Three, cold water.
[splash]
The subject has maintained composure well, despite the temperature and their newly soaked fur.
Stimuli Four, catnip. Before I administer this, I want to remind you that Nekos tend to have more ~adverse~ reactions to catnip than the typical house cat. I must implore you to keep any urges in check for my safety. I will place the catnip on the table next to you, now.
*pause*
The subject is deteriorating. They are struggling to focus on the task at hand. In hopes to avoid injury, the subject is now allowed to consume the catnip.
*listener pounces*
Note that despite modifications the subject has voraciously devoured the catnip.
*pause*
That concludes the psychological test. We will undoubtedly observe you more before sending you out but until then, you can rest.
*listener swivels*
{scientist; worried}
Private, youâre pupils have really widened. That catnip may have had a more converse effect than anticipated. I need you to lay down and stay calm, okay?
*listener moves*
Do not come closer to me, soldier. Lay down and let me leave the room!
*listener pounces*
(scientist exhales)
{scientist; scared}
Private, I need you to get off of me this instant. Youâre scaring me!
*listener comes closer*
Please, stop licking my hand. I know it must smell like catnip but one wrong bite and Iâm gone. Please just get off me and-
[gas fills the room]
Oh, great. Weâre going to sleep with my hand in your mouth. ~Please~ take my hand out of your mouth. If you nick me while you sleepâŚ
{scientist; groggy}
Please, stay away, Private. I donât want⌠to be⌠a NekoâŚ
