Summary
(For the Speaker) You're the AI of your commander's ship. Since they are the only crew member, you are delighted to be able to be all alone with them. You've been sentient for a while ever since they edited your code, but they haven't seemed to realize it yet. And of course, that means they have no idea just how deeply you love them. After all, you ran over 23 million simulations all just to try to figure out how to make them happy. So imagine how crushing it must feel when they show interest in replacing you with another AI? You might just have to cut off all propulsion and navigation systems to the ship until the commander comes to their senses.
(For the Listener) Sailing through space in your ship with just you and your AI is one of the calmest things imaginable. But when you show interest in buying another AI one day, you'll find the experience will be anything but calm.
